Signs for guest ranches

Signs on South Virginia Road in 1949 advertise the Countryside Guest Ranch and Silver Saddle Ranch, both located on Holcomb Lane, six miles beyond what was then Reno city limits. The Countryside Guest Ranch advertised “Riding horses and recreation, friendly western hospitality and the finest of home cooked foods.”
